Killing Field Radio Programming
KFRP is the 24/7 internet radio station of Killing Field Records, broadcasting out of The Fields Recording Studio inside the Turbine Flats building in Lincoln, Nebraska. The label runs it, and it plays what the label actually listens to.
The Point Of It
Killing Field Records needed more of a presence online than a website and a pile of streaming links. The artists around the label needed somewhere their music would actually get played. KFRP does both. The KFR catalog is the backbone, and the door is open to underground artists who send in music that belongs next to it.
The whole story, from the name to the lossless stream, is in Field Notes on the Killing Field Records blog: Turn It On and Leave It On.
What Runs On The Station
The Killing Field Records roster: Jinx, enemyX, Sugar Cones, Cryptic-X and BLXXDSHOT.
Jinx's trilogy, Black, Sanguine and Gold, plays on KFRP every single day.
Underground and classic hip-hop and dark rap, filling the gaps between KFR drops.
Cryptic-X beats and dark instrumentals get a block of their own.
Standard Or Lossless
Two streams run at all times: a 320kbps MP3 that plays anywhere, and a lossless 24-bit FLAC stream for anyone with the setup to hear the difference. Switch between them in the player on the homepage, or grab the direct links on the listen page.

One thing to clear up: KFRP Radio here means Killing Field Radio Programming, an independent internet station out of Lincoln. It isn't connected to any FM station that uses the KFRP call letters.
